Hi, I'm having trouble passing the Paramedic National Registry Exam. I am a volunteer FF and EMT, have my FF1 & 2. I have gotten several first and second interviews but the one thing I can't seem to get passed in the Medic exam. I keep missing it by a couple of questions. I already missed out getting hired in two cities because I didn't have it yet. I've passed my skills portion with flying colors. It's just the written. I've taken it 5 times. Each time I'm a few questions short in a different category. I've been studying my but off, even quit a real good job to concentrate on it. Is there anyone out there with a good suggestion for preparing.

I have two study guides: Barrons Emt/Paramedic Exam and PreTest EMT/Paramedic by Westfal, Langeri, and Santa Maria. I am scoring in the 90 percentile in these workbooks but missing the test by a couple of questions, every time in a different category. I have over 500 flash cards and a Mosby studyguide that is scenario based as well. I have passed all categories of the test but not all at the same time. Over all I'm getting more than 70%. My next plan is to go back to my text book and start reading. Frankly I don't know where to begin with it after Failing it a couple of times. I passed my skills with flying colors, I just have trouble with the written. Any help would be much appreciated!! Confused
