Kathy (Kay) Mayfield

Firefighter Kathy Mayfield, 47, of the Crooksville, Ohio, Volunteer Fire Department went into cardiac arrest at her fire station after fighting a mutual aid fire at a tire shop in New Lexington. She died the following day.
