Kendra Dickerson

Captain Kendra Dickerson, of the Lebanon, Ohio, Fire Division, lost her two-year battle with cancer on January 7, 2005.

Captain Dickerson was a 27-year veteran of the division, and became its third-highest ranking officer when she was promoted to captain in 1999. She was also an avid SCUBA diver and pilot who, along with her husband, owned a single-engine airplane. She leaves behind her husband of twenty years and a 14-year-old daughter, as well as her fire department family and a large host of friends. A memorial fund has been established for her daughter's college education. Donations may be sent to:
