HAZARDOUS MATERIALS PROGRAM SUPERVISOR / ASSISTANT FIRE CHIEF
Basic Functions and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Shasta College Fire Chief, to supervise the hazardous materials and confined space programs; and to assist in the coordination of the Shasta College Fire Technology Program and Shasta College Fire Department. This is an educational supervisory position, which may include a teaching assign-ment, and operates as an overtime exempt supervisory classification. This position requires a thorough working knowledge of various district procedures, board policies, federal and state regulations.
State of CA Firefighter One or equivalent:
A valid and appropriate California Driver's license, Class "B" with a driving record acceptable to the District's insurance carrier A valid CPR card and Emergency Responder (First Aid)
Starting Date/Salary and Benefits
01/01/2007 or soon thereafter
