Post-conference trip

It has become a tradition following WFS conferences for a small group of attendees to go on a three-day excursion after the conference is over. This all-women trip allows the networking to continue in a more casual and relaxed setting. This year's trip will take us to the mountains of the western Maryland panhandle, where we will stay in cabins in a state park. Options for activities will include hiking, birdwatching, and mountain biking; other choices may be available depending on the weather.

The trip will leave from the conference hotel following the organizational meeting on Sunday afternoon, April 3. Transportation to the state park (approximately four hours away) will be provided, returning to the hotel by noon on Wednesday, April 6. The trip fee will be approximately $150 per person, which includes, transportation, lodging, and food for communally prepared meals.
