Special Thursday evening event: Reception on Capitol Hill

On Thursday evening, March 31, we will travel to Capitol Hill for a bipartisan reception in honor of Women in the Fire Service. The reception is sponsored by Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) and Susan Collins (R-Me.), and will offer an opportunity for networking between congressional representatives and fire service personnel. Conference attendees and their guests are invited.

The reception will take place from 5:30 - 7 p.m..Transportation will be via the Metro (the D.C. area subway system); allow at least 45 minutes for travel time. Conference staff and volunteers will be on hand at the hotel to provide Metro directions and guidance. We encourage fire and rescue service personnel to wear their uniforms for this photo-op event.

The reception fee is not included in the conference registration. Tickets must be purchased in advance; see the appropriate space on the registration form.
